Steveston, where the Fraser River meets the Pacific Ocean, is a vibrant and growing area in the southwest corner of the City of Richmond. Originally an agricultural village, Steveston evolved rapidly to become a very busy fishing port, boasting over a dozen canneries at one time. The closing of the canneries has initiated a great deal of residential development, with something to suit all buyers.
