North of the historic Village, Steveston North Real Estate is a well established, residential community consisting of large property lots and well maintained original and new family homes. Older, more affordable condos and townhomes are available, as well as new developments. As with many areas of Richmond, city planners built each school adjacent to a park, providing plenty of green space and playing fields. Diefenbaker, McKinney, and Steeves Elementary, based on catchment borders, and Hugh Boyd Secondary, are the district schools in Steveston North. The West Dyke Trail, along Sturgeon Banks, leads to Steveston Village.
