North Delta

North Delta is the most populated of the three distinct communities of the newly designated City of Delta, with close to three times the population of either Ladner or Tsawwassen, the remaining districts of Delta.   People of all cultures and diversities have chosen North Delta as their home, in part  for its peaceful and quiet neighbourhoods.

World renowned Burns Bog , the largest urban peat bog in North America lies west of between North Delta and Ladner, part of  the vast greenspace in the community.  Delta’s largest park, Watershed Park is located in North Delta, offering trails through vast forested areas, and an annual fish release.  Sungod Recreation Centre offers many family-friendly programs and houses both an ice rink and indoor swimming pool.

The South Perimeter Road, which is part of Highway 17, opened in 2013 and has vastly improved commuter times for North Delta residents.   This convenient addition to the roadways provides connections to major highways, bridges and businesses across MetroVancouver.
